Red Sunset
Red SunsetI took this wonderful sunset shot at Monument Valley in Utah. I just happen to be there on an afternoon where the clouds and sunset produced a wonderful series of images.

Sunset Bridge
Sunset BridgeThis image was my last photo taken of the day at the Clark County Wetlands in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was really taken by the sun and the clouds that day. I actually had finished for the day. Then on my way back to my car I had to cross this bridge and just loved how the sun was hitting it at that moment. So I stopped and set up and took this photo. Enjoy!

Through The Trees
Through The TreesThis photo is inspired by one of my favorite photographers and why I think I love landscape photography so much. This image is paying respect to Peter Lik and the wonderful art he consistently produces. So I thought that I would take this image that I specifically shot for this idea and purpose and share it with everyone. This was taken at Sequoia National Park in California in March. This was my first trip to the national park and definitely won't be my last. This shot was taken on the popular trail to the General Sherman tree. I found this spot that had a great group of trees bunched together. However, on the first pass the lighting just wasn't right but I liked the composition nevertheless. So I came back about an hour later and the lighting was much better, creating a more moody and richer look to the treeline. I set up the shot, framing it just the way I had an hour before. After about 5 shots I settled on the image that I felt best captured the moment. With a little post processing to crop the image to the correct proportions and color correction, this is the final result. Please enjoy, Like and Share! "Through The Trees" Nikon D7100 F/10 1/25 of a sec. ISO 320
